Monsignor Gary Anthony Franken as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Saint Paul, transferring him from his current pastoral duty as Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
August 31, 2022 Pope Francis has appointed Msgr. Frank Leo as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Montreal, the Holy See announced today, memorial of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Following his episcopal ordination, the new bishop will join the auxiliary bishop currently assisting the Archbishop of Montreal, Most Rev. Alain Faubert, in serving the faithful of the Archdiocese.

Archbishop Jurkovič has served until now as Holy See Permanent Observer at the United Nations and Specialised Agencies in Geneva and at the World Trade Organisation, and Holy See Representative at the International Organisation for Migration. Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič was born in Kocevje (Slovenia) on 10 June 1952. He was ordained a priest on June 29, 1977. He is hinged in Ljubljana. He has a degree in Canon Law. He entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See on May 1, 1984, and subsequently worked at the Pontifical Representations in Korea, Colombia, Russia and at the Section for Relations with States of the Secretariat of State. He knows Croatian, Italian, Spanish, English, German, French and Russian.

Afr., as the Bishop of the Diocese of Prince Albert, and today appointed his successor, Father Stephen Hero. At the time of his appointment, Father Hero was the Rector of St. Joseph Seminary in Edmonton. Bishop Thévenot has been the Bishop of Prince Albert for the past 13 years. He submitted his resignation to the Holy Father upon reaching the age limit of 75, as stipulated by Canon 401 of the Code of Canon Law.

Fr. John was born in Timmins, Ontario on June 20, 1969 and was ordained to the Catholic priesthood for the Diocese of Timmins (Ontario) on May 4, 1996. Since 1997 he has served as diocesan vocation director and diocesan liturgy director for the English Pastoral Region of his diocese. For close to twenty years he has taught the AQ Courses in Religious Education for Catholic Teachers and is a popular presenter and preacher. He serves as a member of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario and has coordinated a number of provincial symposia for the ongoing formation of priests. He helped found the Diocesan Vocation Directors of Canada (DVDC) and has served as its founding president since 2006. In addition his role as Chair of the Board of Priests For Life Canada, Fr. Ivan Philip Camilleri, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia in the same Archdiocese, assigning him the titular See of Teglata in Numidia. Curriculum vitae HE Mons. Ivan Philip Camilleri was born on April 18, 1969 in Malta and emigrated to Canada with his family at the age of 11. After two years at St. Thomas More Separate School in Mississauga (1980-1982) and secondary studies at Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School (1982-1987), he attended Laurentian University in Sudbury (1987-1991) obtaining a Licentiate in Commerce. . He then moved to Scotland and enrolled at the University of Edinburgh Business School , where he earned his Masters in Business Administration (1991-1993). Later he attended professional refresher courses in the management field. After working from 1993 to 2000 at Bell Canada Enterprises , he held managerial positions at Marconi Canada Inc. In 2001 he entered St. Augustine's Seminary of Toronto. On 12 May 2007 he was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toronto. He then served as Parish Vicar for two years in the Merciful Redeemer Parish of Mississauga. Later, in 2011 he enrolled in the School of Canon Law and obtained a Licentiate in Canon Law (JCL) from the Catholic University of America in Washington (USA). He began ministerial service as Vice-Chancellor of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toronto and Defender of the Bond, becoming Chancellor in 2012 and Vicar General and Moderator of the Archdiocesan Curia in 2013.
The Holy Father has appointed as auxiliary of the diocese of Hamilton, Canada, the Reverend Wayne Lawrence Lobsinger, episcopal vicar for consecrated life and parish priest of Saint Thomas the Apostle, Waterdown, in the same diocese, assigning him the titular see of Gemellae in Numidia. Curriculum vitae Msgr. Wayne Lobsinger was born on 1 December 1966 in the region of Waterloo, Ontario. After his secondary studies, in 1985 he began his university studies in the faculty of Music of the Wilfrid Laurier University. After a year he entered the seminary where he was awarded a Master of Divinity. He was ordained a priest on 7 May 1994, and incardinated in the diocese of Hamilton, where he held the following offices: parish vicar and master of ceremonies; parish priest of Saint Anthony in Kincardine (2003-2005); parish priest of the Blessed Sacrament in Kitchener (2005-2012) and parish priest of Saint Thomas the Apostle in Waterdown. He has held the following diocesan offices: diocesan spiritual director of the Legion of Mary (1992-2016); deputy director and director of the Clergy Seminar Committee (2001-2004); chaplain of the Knights of Columbus in Kitchener (2005-2012); president of the presbyteral council (2011-2017); member of the Diocesan Personnel Board (2013-2016); and coordinator of the Good Leaders, Good Shepherds programme (2014). Until now he has served as member of the college of consulters and diocesan representative of the Canadian Federation of Presbyteral Councils (since 2011); spiritual director of Saint Peter’s Seminary, London, Ontario (since 2016); and episcopal vicar for consecrated life (since 2014).
